RENEMBRANÇA TEAM is in love with stories from centuries past, real ones or not. Fictional characters or real ones, in armor or in horseback, making long trips around the world or just defending their homes from a fearful enemy : along our lives we enjoyed many hours of reading, thinking, creating in our minds the faces or voices we were told but in many cases, never depicted to us. Imagination finally made it's way to push us to this time: of creation, illustration and storytelling.

We've found that there are interesting tales linked to history involving swords and wits. What we are now is somewhat explained through centuries of conflict, boldness and decisions. We are sharing hero stories, brave warriors tales. What they were and the name they had is the first step and, as well as our lives, theirs will be developing through the years. Renembrança remembers, create, draw, write and, through Teemill, print to tell a tale.

First of all, TeeMill only uses organic materials and and renewable energy powered factories, and by using cutting edge 'eco-textiles', TeeMill creates products that have a unique natural softness and feel when worn.
TeeMill allows us to give people the option to decide for ethical and sustainable fashion, in other words, to shop with a conscience. Thus, our products do double duty, our artwork invites you to travel in the history, and the quality of our products makes it easy for us to offer our customers transparent and traceable products.
Every item in the apparel categories we produce with TeeMill is manufactured on-demand immediately after it is ordered from the store, making sure there is no process waste, and using environmentally friendly packaging.

Would you like to know more about the Organic cotton farming methods?

A parallel reality

TeeMill uses organic cotton in whose farming no toxic pesticides and fertilizers are used, insect traps and co-planting are used along with the special ingredient: cow poop.
As for water, the organic cotton fields are located in northern India, where reservoirs supply almost all the water needed.
As a result of this farming method, the organic cotton clothing offered by Renembranca has an extra soft feel.

Regarding textile processes...
Teemill digital printed products are certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®. This means working on lower impact inks, software, machinery and automation technologies
The dyeing processes used by TeeMill involve water recovery, cleaning and recirculation. Water is settled and skimmed, then filtered by reverse osmosis and distillation. The water coming out of the filters is then reused in the next dyeing batch.

And the packaging…
In our products, TeeMill uses plastic-free packaging, a rip and splash-proof mailer bag made out of paper, and big orders come in cardboard boxes, with paper-based tape.

SUSTAINABLE MATERIALS
Organic cotton is more sustainable and ethical than regular cotton, protects the farming environment where it is grown and at the same time provides a source of stable income with fair wages for those who cultivate it.
Organic cotton uses no chemical pesticides or fertilizers, limits soil erosion and uses as much as 91% less water than regular cotton.
